The people behind Navoarch
Navoarch was founded by four partners who still run it. That matters more than it sounds: on most projects, the person who agrees the brief with you is also answerable for what gets built.

How the practice is organised
Four Executive Directors carry the firm between them, covering leadership, operations, finance and design. Each is accountable for a defined set of responsibilities rather than for a vague share of everything, which is why a question about a programme, an invoice or a detail has one person to go to rather than four.
Around them work architects, interior designers, project managers and site teams. We keep the practice deliberately close to the work: directors visit sites, and design decisions taken in the studio are defended on site by the people who took them.
What we try to be good at
Three things, consistently. Understanding a brief properly before drawing anything — which usually means asking about how you live or trade rather than about what style you like. Producing drawings complete enough to be built from without guesswork. And telling you the truth about programme and cost early, including when it is not what you were hoping to hear.
